RANCHER TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

The Rancher Technical Assistance Program (RTAP) helps ranchers stay ahead of the latest regulatory requirements by providing technical assistance to ranchers, enabling them to understand and navigate complex regulatory, environmental and business issues.

What Producers Are Saying About Their Experience with RTAP

“I reached out to the Rancher Technical Assistance Program and was provided with specific information about my SB 88 water measurement and reporting question. The compliance process was explained and resources and links were sent to me. I recommend RTAP to any rancher with regulatory compliance questions.”

— A.G., Inyo County

“The RTAP team did an excellent job of explaining stockpond registrations and their regulations. They helped clarify how the State Water Board defines a stockpond.”

— M.S., Siskiyou County
